- 2008: Mark Carey and Curtis Iovito form Spartan Blades, LLC in a Mule barn.
- 2010: Wins International BLADE Show award for Knife Collaboration of the Year (Spartan-Harsey Model I).
- 2014: Secures awards for Knife Collaboration of the Year (V-14 Dagger) and Most Innovative American Design.
- 2016: Receives American Made Knife of the Year for the Spartan-Harsey Folder (SHF).
- 2017: Earns American Made Knife of the Year for the Kranos folder.
- 2019: Merges with KA-BAR Knives, forming Pineland Cutlery, Inc.
